Through out my history of downloading and archiving my finished-watching anime, I've been downloading the AVI format (XviD or whatever it's called) instead of MKV (H.264 or whatever it's called) for the sole purpose of DVD player playback. Obviously, we don't have a DVD player than supports MKV playback. I only download the MKV format when it's the only one available, or if an AVI release's quality is bad that it hurts my eyes.
Yesterday, I looked for the debut episode of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi S2 at Tokyo Tosho and I saw 2 fansub groups who have released already - [DB_L-E] (Dattebayo & Live-eviL) and [CoalGG] (CoalGuys & gg Fansubs).
Also, since it's Friday yesterday, it means another episode of K-ON!. Tired of waiting for somebody to upload the latest with subs, I downloaded it myself. Since MKV is the only release, I had no choice but to download it.

Teaching Guitar Lessons...
Arctus (online name), who recently celebrated his birthday last May 17, told me last night that he wants to teach me how to play the guitar. He told his mom and she agreed. I was surprised because it was really sudden. He just told me one night and I must teach him the following day! Oh well. It can't be helped. I can't refuse. He's been like a lil' bro to me and it won't hurt if I teach him how to play the guitar while we're on vacation, because after vacation, we won't be seeing much again - I'm in college and he will be in high school this year, although our homes are just a few steps away.
He came to our house and I taught him for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Just like when I was learning how to play the guitar, he can't press and make the chords sound well because his fingers are stiff and the tips are soft. It's because when you usually practice to play the guitar, your fingertips will eventually toughen. *References are personal experience and one episode from K-ON! LOL.* For starters, I taught him how to play one of BLEACH's ending, "Daidai" sung by Chatmonchy because the chords are simple, or at least the simplest in my song archive.
After the session, he can play the first verse of the song already. Unlike myself before, I was able to play a part of a song after self-studying for not less than a week. He told me that it's because I teach very well. *flattered* Of course, I denied that statement. *embarassed*
I'm still thinking about whether I should make him pay me for teaching him or not. But at least, I was able to do a different thing this vacation.

I just finished watching the School Rumble Series - 1st Term, 1st Term OVAs, 2nd Term, and 3rd Term OVAs. I'm just a little clueless and curious about the details between the end of 2nd Term and the start of the 3rd Term OVA. There are a lot of events that happened like the regrowth of Harima's beard and moustache, Yakumo confessing to Harima, Karasuma telling Yakumo that he'll be going to America, etc.
I think there will be a whole 3rd Term (episode 1 - 24, since the 2 OVAs are named 25 and 26), even though many has thought of that already. I can't wait! But I don't get the fact that the last two episodes of the 3rd Term were aired already and there's a lot of events that weren't aired. What's the point? Happy Birthdays!
Yesterday, May 16, it was my grandfather's birthday - the father of Mom.
Today, I'm at the house of the birthday celebrant, Arctus Chaolan.

For these past 2 nights, I wasn't able to use the internet because my mom's using it. The router's still broken.
After attending the mass last night, Mom and I went to the mall to have the router checked. The technician can't think of any further solutions so we bought a new router. This time, it's D-Link. Now I can use the internet again.

Today... again
I'll take this chance to post while Mom isn't using the internet yet, because our router is still broken/malfunctioning.
Mom woke me up at around 8:45 AM because we ran out of water. I miscalculated the amount of water that I've measured yesterday, thinking that it will be enough until today. I turned the water pump on, at around 9:00, and waited for it to close. I did nothing while waiting. The refilling time was rather long compared to the average. It took 25 minutes. After that, I ate breakfast, which I prepared myself. It's still tacos. While eating, I turned on the TV. The current show is One Piece. I changed the channel because I don't watch it. The other channel showed Naruto, the Naruto when they were still kids. The episode is about Rock Lee and Gai talking about their past memories because Lee is injured that time and can't decide whether to have the surgical operation or not, because Tsunade said that it'll be a 50/50 chance of success.
After eating, I washed the dishes. I returned the channel where One Piece was showing and exactly ended. The show after it was Slam Dunk. Oh yes! The episode is about two things. One is about Shinichi Maki, Nobunaga Kiyota, and Sakuragi watching the eliminations at Aichi. The other is about Rukawa talking to Coach Anzai and asking his opinion about him going to America. After watching, I went to my room to use the PC and surf the internet, as usual. But to my dismay, our router failed again. So Mom and I went to the shop where we bought the router and asked for assistance. We followed the technician's advice and called our ISP (Internet Service Provider). Our ISP wasn't that much of help so we called the technician. He told us that we should go back again to the shop tomorrow or some other day to have the router diagnosed.
That's about it. The things that I'll be doing after will be: playing MyBrute, playing eRepublik, take a bath, continue watching School Rumble, then sleep. I'll be going to the shop again tomorrow to get the router diagnosed.

Today...
Mom woke me up around the same time as yesterday, telling me that we'll be eating breakfast already. Our breakfast was tacos. Yum yum! After eating, as usual, I handled the washing of the dishes. Then, my mom decided to use the internet for a while, but since the router still has a problem, she wasn't able to.
I tried fixing it but I completely failed. Then she remembered that she will be meeting her office mate before so she prepared herself and left the house. As usual, I used my PC, while fixing the router from time to time.
Evening came and Mom arrived. I still was not able to fix the router. It was around 7:30. I took a break for a while and continued to fix the router. Finally, I was able to fix the router, somehow. It was around 10:30.
That's just about it for today since the last will be me creating this post. Good night everyone.

Yesterday... again
Argh... I hate posting late. I'm posting yesterday's happenings just tonight because our internet connection, sorry for the word, fucked up last night.
Mom woke me up a bit earlier than usual yesterday, around 9:45 AM. It's because she wants me to cook rice while she takes a bath and because she was hungry. I went downstairs to cook rice but since it takes about 30 minutes, I decided to watch TV while waiting for it to finish. It was 10 AM. The current show was Slam Dunk and the episode is from the Ryonan vs. Shohoku Inter-High arc. Just as the episode ended, the rice also finished cooking.
I didn't eat yet because I'm waiting for Mom to finish dressing up so that we can eat together. While waiting, I changed the channel and watched the Game 4 of Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets, venue at Rockets' home court, it was Toyota Center, I think. A basketball-themed morning, isn't it? Around half-time of the game, Mom finally finished dressing up and we ate together. Then she left the house for work. It was around the end of the 3rd quarter of the game when she left. I decided to watch the first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter since the Lakers were totally left behind by more than 10 points. When the first 6 minutes of the last quarter passed by, the Rockets were still leading, but this time, by more than 30 points. I turned off the TV and went to my room to use the PC, as usual.
Mom arrived home with groceries from the supermarket and I took care of them. Then...

Our router had a problem, that I somehow solved just tonight. We only have one DSL subscription, and since Mom has her laptop and I have my desktop, and we both use the internet, we bought a router to save money. Basically, we can't (or shouldn't) afford two DSL subscriptions.
The cause of the router-fucking-up thing started yesterday. Mom left the house to go to work. Since she's out, I decided to connect the DSL directly to my PC, thinking that the connection speed will increase. Then, when she arrived, I returned the DSL connection to the router, but the router failed. I've been doing that countless times but this is the first or second time that the router failed. Because of that, we weren't able to use the internet for the rest of the night - meaning I can't update this blog of mine, too.

Yesterday...
I woke up to the voice of my mom. I was a bit frustrated since I wanted to sleep more. But I remembered that we will go to the church to attend at the mass so I kept my cool and prepared.
I went downstairs to eat but unfortunately, Mom wasn't able to cook breakfast. I didn't mind it because I wasn't actually hungry so I took a bath and dressed up after. Knowing my mom, she is slow when it comes to taking a bath or dressing up so I used my PC to kill time. Then I remembered that a new episode (episode 6) of moesic (moe + music) anime K-ON! is already available so I decided to watch it.
I didn't download the episode because doing so will take some time so I just watched it on YouTube. So that was my BREAKFAST.
After watching, Mom was done dressing up (at last!) then we left for the church. Then we bought some mangoes (a healthy alternative for dessert, instead of cakes and such) before going to my cousins. Upon arriving (it was almost 12 noon), I paid respect to the elder relatives then talked with my cousins. After which is LUNCH (finally!) then bonding time - we watched a comedy/romance movie. Then we left because it was getting late (already 5 PM).
Upon arriving home, we ate DINNER, then watched TV a bit, then started to do the laundry (what the?! this late?! *9 PM*). Fortunately, we were able to finish the laundry before we even got lazy doing it (12 midnight). I went to my room and played Grand Chase (online game) for a bit, then slept.
It was also yesterday that I decided to create a new blog while trying to sleep.
